Hi, I'm Karena I've been a Professional Dog Groomer, Grooming Trainer & Dog Minder since 2006.


I was the exclusive Grooming Trainer for Diggiddy Doggy Day Care in South Melbourne and The Pooch Beauty Salon in Altona Victoria, as well as years of Training people one-on-one at my own Grooming Salon. 


Not everybody knows if they want a Career in Grooming, nor do they want to commit upfront to a full year or pay the hefty fees when they are not sure if this Career path is for them.


I've found a huge need to cater to people that still want to dabble with idea of becoming a Dog Groomer but want to try it first without the hefty fees. That's why our Lessons are Pay As You Go!! 


Each lesson is 3 hours. Lessons are usually 1 to 2 days per week (do as many or as little lessons as you like) and we always try to work lessons around your schedule where possible. 


WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO EACH LESSON

- Payment on the day (unless paid online)

- A notepad and pen

- Bring a small long hair dog to each lesson

- Wear old clothing and closed toe shoes (no thongs/sandals)

- Drink Bottle

- Bring a 'Can Do' attitude (please leave the nerves at home) 



OUR GOAL

The Goals in these Lessons is to teach and educate you the basic art of Dog Grooming and running a Grooming business. Not everyone knows exactly what career path they want to pursue, so these Lessons are Pay As You Go option for that exact reason. You may not want to spend a lot of money upfront and commit to a lengthy Grooming Course while you are trying to figure out your career path or maybe you just want to learn for a hobby or to groom your own dogs. It’s also to empower you that you can in fact start and prosper in your own business.
